Tuning turbo time!

Its tight (external waste gate stuff) but it fits :)

intercooler is going to be an issue. might need to find something a little smaller then the 20vt one i bought. easy option is front mounted intercooler but I hate them.

started ripping wires out. removing everything thats unused.

also fitted the quick shifter. works great. did tweak the arm that controls the left and right action because I found with the 6speed box the lever is not as center as it is with the 5speed box.

yeh that is another option... the tube shaped ones look like they would work best for me... but they are expensive when you consider that a normal intercooler can be gotten for £50 and the charge cooler is 200+ then about 200 for the pump/hose/tank/rad

It is not that costly

Pump from an Audi or Vauxhall Omega less than £30, (in fact I have one you can have for £20) Std heater hose £20 tops, any header tank will do or you can use a swirl pot £20 tops, rad use a Cento one you must have one of them laying around somewhere. Barrel I picked up mine for less than £100 from ebay

started fitting the cooling systems.

found a very good spot for the coolant tank.
the oil heat exchanger took a lot of thinking but found a nice hidey hole. (who can guess where from the mount I made?)

here we go :)

also fitted the oil cooler water pipes which are just the heater pipe from the back of the head. it goes to the cooler then back up into the heater.

does mean that the car heater will take longer to warm up (heat exchanger is very efficient and will suck all the heat out the coolant and pass it into the oil) but it is worth it.
