I'm on the northside. Yeah I'm defo liking the stilo more and more now. Got in my mates golf the other day and it was jumping along the road and I could barely open the door(no bangs or anything tho). Looking forward to the stilo. I'm sure you will be too
I'm representing the northside posse myself. I'm going to try and get a test drive in one just to see what i'm dealing with. If you see a black abarth-kitted punto with black angel eyes thats me! Make sure you give me a beep, i'll keep an eye out for your new ride!
You wouldn't be down in Drumcondra would you?
Theres another blue running around Dublin but as soon as I get the skirts and 17" fiat alloys put on you'll know if its me or not. Oh and the learner plate hah
I would indeed lol :slayer: Your from around there? Are you getting the claws or the 5 spokes? I'll probably go for the 5 spoke on mine.
Haha I'm up on Mobhi road! I see it parked outside the spar all the time if that is yours. I'll be going for the 5spoke.. Picked up the car yesterday and I saw 6 stilos that day. Right before pulling into the garage there was a yellow stilo with claws and skirts in front of me. I never knew there were so many around. By the way its a beautiful car. Have you any idea of where to get the brio catalogue in Dublin or who works with it? The Fiat service repair place in Finglas doesn't use it.
Oh and by the way, I could duff both of you in my Stilo![]()
Well done!
Cash, Do you have a number for them? I'd love to see the prices they're quoting since they're closer than the one in Finglas. And where on the site can you get a free copy? Would be very handy! I'm buyin the replica factory skirts from Lester and then just the 5 spoke from Fiat. Oh and also a nice set of white Birba dials... Maybe I'll get around to lowering it later in the year. Great car though so far. Test drive one and you'll make up your mind
heres a link to the free catalogue thing

Their number is 018366000. What work do you want done? if it's just some colour coding and spraying it'd prob be cheaper elsewhere, theres a great spot down in ballybough called carcraft that did some work for me. Very professional and great work. How much the 5 spokes costing you? The birba dials are lovely, I have a set of plasma dials in my car and the difference they make is unreal.
I'm planning on taking a drive in one soon, though my mind is pretty much set on one.![]()
Well for the sake of a hundred euro or so I'd rather get the wheels supplied and fitted, handles done and skirts sprayed(I'll fit them myself) all in the one go! They can't get them to me as a kit only individual and even with a "discount" with tyres and vat included its costing 1450eurthats about 200 more than I expected. So I'm wondering if another garage will do better. Hard to find one around though. Is that number for Hutton&meade?
Yeah I know! Mneh. Yeah each wheel as individuals. I had a topic on here about the replicas but was put off them. They'll end up costing 1060eu including tyres for the replicas. Mitchells on Capel St can get the replica factory skirts for 240. Any chance you'd help me try source a set of these 5 spokes since you're picking up a pair too?
Never heard of that shop, are they fibreglass? If they are be careful cause some companys use **** fibreglass that will crack and peel at the slightest knock. I'll ask around, I've asked someone who knows a lot about alloys what they think of the replicas, just have to wait and see what they think. I'll search around thenet aswell and see what i come up with. Keep an eye on ebay aswell.
They're abs plastic. A lot of people on here have recommended lester and also on stiloclub.it(through translators) have the skirts fitted. Better fit than the factory ones too. That would be great if you found out about them. The skirts are going to take 10 days to deliver(ordered them this afternoon). I'm guessing you mean the ones from performancealloys.co.uk. Easy to slap on the fiat badge on them? I'd buy the centre caps off Fiat if its possible to swap them. You'll see my thread in the sytling section asking about replica alloys. Someone said to stay clear of them but just meant replicas in general so depends on the quality of these ones. Cheers man
Yeah they do. If you have a look in pictures with the factory skirts fitted you'll see they stop a good bit short of the arches and they're also screwed on. So if you're pickin up a set you know where to look. You work in the Spar right? If so I think I know you.
I'll be ordering the wheels from Fiat in about a week or so if not.Cheers
I've searched all over the net and can't find anywhere that does them, if you wait a set will come up on ebay or here eventually but you could be waiting a while! Apparently the replica brand are just like any other wheel, if they weren't safe they wouldn't be allowed to sell them as they all have to pass integrity and crucial stress point tests. If I were buying them now I'd approach Fiat and tell them you can get them for much cheaper (don't say they're replicas) and see if he'll come down on that price a bit,the profit margins they operate on are ludicrous anyway. You've got nothing to lose.
Yeh i work there, how do you know me?
