Hi, everyone! My Stilo multiwagon JTD is having a problem. When the car is cold (in the morning), it starts and runs fine for a couple off km. Then, the engine failure warning pops up and the car enters safe mode (becomes very slugish, like it has no turbo), and stays like that untill many hours after, sometimes until Next day. Scan shows error p0235 (no other codes). When i get live data, before the warning the Boost pressure looks Ok when compared to the expected Boost pressure. When the engine fault warning comes, the Boost pressure drops to a constant 282 mbar, and its stays like that. I am very inclined it is the MAP sensor. What do you think? Also...I tried to remove it but my hands are so big could not reach the Bolt...:) any other ideas to take the sensor off? Thank you all! Cheers

Hi, ceecff! Thats what I thouht, but since I lack knowledge of eletric testing, the only way to know is to swap it. The problem is the MAP bolt is in a tight space, my hand and the socket dont fit. Need to find a way to take it off... Thanks for your input!:)

Really it's so simple, try a mix of tools to unscrew sensor (flexible extension, articulated joint, small L key) or even you can move metal coolant pipe a little if it blocks access.
I Will try with and articulated joint! By the way, the parts store only has a Pierburg sensor. I think the OEM is Bosh, but Pierburg is also a reputable brand, dont you think? I heard some of the eBay Bosh parts are "fake". Thanksss

I would use original part only, it's Bosch. Pierbug is good brand, but calibration can be different to Bosch like MAF. Even I'd buy original used sensor before than other new.

Thanks! Will try to get a picture of the part number and try to find it online. I Will try and keep an update here. Cheers
