General Ride in Fiat 100HP

I haven't got nothing against V-tecs, my mate has a Civic Type R, fantastic car to rag around a track or on a B road, but for town driving their not so nice to live with. This girl i know had a S2000, she got rid because it was useless around town under 'normal' driving conditions

Remapping is cheating! :p

As for your friend struggling with her S2000, perhaps she needed to use the gear lever a little more? Personally, I never had an issue with pottering around in the ITR or S2000.

Anyhow, back to the 100HP's ride. It's an inexpensive to buy/run warm-hatch and as a result, many compromises were made. It doesn't have high-quality, well-engineered suspension and on rough roads, you are only too aware of that. However, it offers great fun and value-for-money. As they say, horses for courses.

Having covered over 80k in mine, I am still happy :)

Couldnt have put it better myself. The cars are built to a compromise and for what they cost, especially used, are very good value for money. The ride is only an issue on bumpy/rough roads and around town etc it is perfectly acceptable, you just find yourself avoiding pot holes etc in the road.

I had to sell my 182 for insurance reasons (new address meant insurance went from £650 to £1500!!) and the 100HP was the best performance-insurance group compromise i found, i've had the car about 2 months now and not looked back once! :)
