Saw a tidy looking 100hp on Facebook market place,

The sill ends has disappeared..!

Our 04 model 169 was REALLY Solid,

Is the caused by the extra trims..?

£875 was the asking price..

Ok if you could repair effectively

but being quite straight looking could be around £3 or £4 k if repaired skillfully

Usually corroded from the inside

Fiat use

Electroplating double-sided
immersion in zinc electrolyte under current

zinc layer 8 - 16 microns

From 2007
zinc layer 10 - 12 microns

Unpainted areas will loose approximately 1 micron per year

Depends on the Environment as an example of both extremes, the car only used in the dry and stored inside or live by the seaside and splashes through saltwater will alter its longevity but on average it's going to start to corroded from between 8 to 16 years and a few more to the metal to rust away

One rusty area usually means there are others. 100HP can make good money but they'll be in excellent condition and low miles. There are not many about like that.

Also check the wheels for roundness. They do not cope at all well with potholes or 3x2 timbers dropped on motorways.
