It took a long time to decide on which car I was bringing tomorrow. In the end, I picked this one... -- it's only under a car cover (a cheapo one; not like the posh thing that's kept Betty warm all winter (and spring)) because the oak tree it's parked under is dropping sap (probably from insects, rather than the tree itself...) like mad; and I didn't want to have to clean it again, tomorrow....

Any guesses?

All will obviously be revealed at Wellingborough Tesco (oh, the glamour...), tomorrow morning...!

you won't have to set off TOO EARLY,
now you've got an UNO Turbo :p

Ooh! That would be nice...! ;)

my "x-ray specs" were shouting "OSLO GREY"..:D

but looking at the cover the front doesn't look "panda - square"
and the screen seems well back over a L O N G bonnet,;)

amazing innit ;)

have a great day.. ( is it Cherry Tomato weather again?)

I agree - it looks more mk3 Panda or Y10 under the cover. something doesn't look mk2 Panda about the way the cover's hanging........

Panto and the blue clx are all clean, shiny and ready to go.

Barbara is driving Panto this time as we are bound to leave a little late and have to make up time on the road, if that is the case I know she'll be able to keep up. :)

We're aiming to meet up at Tesco's. (y)

That's ok as long as she accepts that the keys cannot be kept! I've got enough trouble with you wanting to keep them - Barbara's been on my side so far!! ;)

All that could change after tomorrow.

Don't worry, I can build her one of her own if she enjoys driving Panto that much. In fact I'm sure Barbara would insist on it!

What a fantastic day! Lots of noise and powweeeerrrrrr... -- and that was just Betty...! :D

Here she is, as part of the Panda display... -- it looks like they're for sale, doesn't it? "Only one lady owner. Honest, guv."

"Can't make head nor tail of this. What is it. Some sort of Panda/Punto hybrid...?"

I tried to persuade Gavin and Vernon to do this with Panto... -- but they didn't seem keen. This thing drinks five gallons a second of whatever-it's-fuelled-with; and did a standing quarter mile in less than six seconds.... :worship:

"Oh, bugger: I seem to have set fire to my Rolls-Royce...." ;)

And the best action shot of the day? (I took nearly 300 photos -- so it may be a while before I get round to posting a decent selection....)

Thanks to Palio for organizing; and to Freebo; VmanC; Panda Mo; scout -- plus the FIAT Motor Club (GB) contingent -- for a great day out; and Stu DemonD for the flags.... And we got five Pandas in a row...! (y)

PS: Betty's rear exhaust mount failed, about eight miles from home (on the return journey...). I wondered what that funny noise was....

Just got back - Freddie is tucked up safe and sound. Survived better than expected cold wise, but am not expecting to stay awake during the GP highlights!!

Thanks for the pics - lots & lots & lots more of the stand please Mr Fantastic Official Photographer :slayer:

I hope everyone enjoyed it - thanks all for attending & creating what I think was one of the best club displays there - completely unbiased of course! (y)

I'm glad that my suggestion that everyone wrapped up warm as it's always cold there, was picked up by the weather gods - my cunning plan worked a bit too well, as it was baking.....

P.S. Hope the exhaust is ok!

Good day it was!

Before I forget homeward there was a bit of oil where you were parked when you left. It was very clean so may have been a bit that missed the filler. May be worth checking.
