This fabulous location is proving to be an ideal venue for Italian car owners in the North East and North West of England, as well as Scotland – with many cars travelling from the south, too. With the castle open this year (Included in the entry) it is a fantastic addition to our calendar.
Tickets are on sale through the Raby website.

Always a fine selection of Fiats on show.

I think I can make this one 👍🏻, I’ve be trying to buy a ticket through the link and on the Raby site and it’s say the domain doesn’t exist .

I might not be able to make this in the car now.
The garage were supposed to have sorted the squeaking rear brakes before I collected it last night, and yep you guessed it, they where screaming like a banshee coming in to work this morning so it’s going back in to the garage in the morning!!

If it doesn’t get sorted in time I might have a ride over on something else Italian instead. My Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory 😁

Some photos of the auto italia show today, fantastic venue 👍🏻

Way back, an old schoolmate had a Ducati 750 that kept blowing its rear cylinder head gasket. I found out just too late that he'd scrapped it! WTF! I'd have bought it for (not much) and got it sorted out. Such a waste.
To be fair I had a 1974 Honda XL250K0 - the really cool one with silver tank and black centre stripe. I sold It knowing it was rare and likely to hold its value. Aagh! Still hurts 40 years later.

Great pics there, looks like it was a decent day?
I ended up taking the bike on a Durham, Helmsley, Wetwang, Thirsk, Northallerton loop instead.

It’s a bummer when you look back at stuff like that isn’t it? I had a brand new, original Honda Monkey bike from the 70’s when I was a kid (yeah I’m old!) and we gave it away to a family friend for their son to ride after I had outgrown it. How I wish I still had that bike now.
