Nissan/Fiat - they have limited manufacturing agreements in certain parts of the world. In SA, for eg. Fiat cars are built in Nissan's factory (or used to be)

Until recently, Fiat and Alfa cars were sold from Nissan Dealerships as well.

the connection is that nissan swapped their CVT for something rather special from fiat, can you guess what it is?

fiat gave nissan a chance to save its own life. gifts dont come sweeter, but it worked both ways.

back in 97 nissan shares were so down that a buyout was expected, and the rumours were flying about who would buy them and when. in the end fiat came to their rescue, even though fiat were on the verge of going under themselves. together they came up with several money saving measures that helped to keep both of them out of shark infested waters.

GM came along in 2000 and saved fiat's life, but until then fiat only avoided going under by forming mini-alliances to cut costs. nissan was in the same boat at the time, so working together was natural.

need to get an Avi file to play at the beginning of a powerpoint presentation.

it wont.

anyone find a avi. wmv converter online.

all the ones ive used have been crap and the file was corrupt.

if not tell me what to convert it to.

AVI can be played natively in PP, but the AVI must have been made using a standard codec.

so, if your AVI does not work it must be the codec. change the codec to a standard one, such as cinepac or intel indeo. this will probably make the AVI file slightly larger (non-standard codecs often have better coding compression algorithms) but at least it will work with PP.

now go find a codec converter. i'd tell you which one i use but tbh i cant remember the name of it and i'm at work so i cant check.

i only know because i had the same problem once when i was trying to get some porn vids through an email filter by hiding them in a PP presentation.

it worked!

yeah it does lol.

the amount of crap we send like that that works.

also if the file type is blocked then just changed the extension to .txt then when the recipient gets file save it as .exe or whatever.

as the woman you are the decision maker so its up to you, but you do have a responsibily to notify Tom less than 48days after purchase, and you must also pretend it cost significantly less than it really did. this is neccessary to keep your fella in top shape. the stresses and expenses of modern life take their toll on us men, so its every womans' responsiblity to tell these sweet little lies.

anyway my question....

say you are typing and you accidently hit caps lock and type loads with caps lock on what is the shortcut to put it in to normal non capital letters.

Word versions 1997 and later have a shortcut

SHIFT-F3 - changes selected text between title case, upper case, and lower case.

plus its the same price as a shed for him ....

:idea: ok so idea - get shed for tom, whilst thats on order get kitchen sorted, order fridge freezer, wait till kitchen finished for delivery by which time i'll not see him in the house cos he'll be fettling in his shed, plus as its same colour as old fridge freezer he'll not notice its doubled in size due to the beer that was in it being drank by him lol :devil:

who knows, its moved about 5 times in as many years, not plugged in at new house yet so could be 'poorly' lol oh and it will look mega shabby next to brand new kitchen and new oven/hob
