ha the p75 mani is still to be used im just looking for the time once my engine is fitted and i can put it back to the 75 mpi engine :)

cant remember the exact design i just know they leave the engine as four pipes. go down to two for the joint half way down. then go underneath as two same as the supersprint then end just after the sump as one bigger pipe... 4---2----1... they are a different length to the cento as the clear the engine. but dont take much modding to fit.. ive seen quite a few running them.

its needing a spacer in place due to the old spacer deteriating now so 2 options are new spacer or the bigger maifold but the p75 manifold has a 2 hole output which means a new downpipe aswell :)

Im going to try the thick gaskets on the old spacer first, that will bulk it up to 14 or 15 mm amd seal it better :) only issue i have doing that is the bolts on atm are useless and the standard fiat Studs are too short to go through everything to get a nut on the end

P75 would be better, but getting a downpipe? Van someone give me an easier mission? Lol

IF the gaskets is 4mm-5mm, it will get compressed once bolted... i think it will then only be 2mm or so ?

Yeah thats what i think too, the gaskets are 3-4mm thick so one either side of the spacer should give 2, maybe 2.5mm clearance both sides hopefully bulking the spacer up to 15mm :)

It'll either work brilliantly or be a disaster haha

yeah all fair saying use the p75 manifold are you gonna give the 50 bucks for the downpipe :D

just spotted them on ebay this moment, ermmm, i'll pass for now :p

was looking round the scrappy today for 75's, all they have in are 2 60's and 1 85 16v :(

i hate how the car i want is always on the top of the pile aswell :( just for once i'd like them to make it easy haha

thought yuo said you had the punto 75 mani..... id class the down pipe as one peice tbh lol. sure there is one in my scrappy for £10 for the entire thing... lol. will have to check i suppose

the 75 isnt a 4-2-1 manifold, it's a 4-2 manifold, it only goes to 1 in the downpipe which is part of the exhaust tubing rather than manifold. if it can be seperated it's not one part ;)

aye, defo get where your coming from, you are kinda right but the ss mani is one piece to do away with the need for a seperate downpipe so it maximizes the angles of the branches as they wouldnt meet up to the standard exhaust otherwise

fiat decided to do it cheaply and stick a joint in there and use seperate pieces standard though lol
