General Panda Mamy

General Panda Mamy

The wife took the Panda on a run to Dan-Yr-Ogof caves today and got the mpg up to 54. We had been hovering around the 43mpg mark until then. Very impressed with the 1.2 petrol.

I called into Mervyn Stewarts (Belfast) yesterday on passing. The Cross was parked just at the gate and was calling me to go in and have a look. Then I spotted that they had the Mamy in the showroom. It wasn't to my taste (I didn't like the orange), but then again my own Panda has many of the "special" features already (like the sliding rear seat) and then some more (skydome instead of aircon, Multijet instead of 1.2 engine). :D I think the Mamy could do with the Panda sunblinds I have. They do a great job and cover the whole window as opposed to the titchy things you buy in Mothercare / Boots.

We have now had the alloys and proper roof bars fitted. The alloys have transformed it from a wallowing, body-rolling slithery thing into something with terriffic grip and a much better all-round drive.
I'd recommend it to anyone. The 1.2 petrol is brilliant in the Panda once it's been run in.

Could we have some up-dated pics when possible please ;) :yum:

He'd just had a huge ice cream and was looking forward to getting my leather interior all nice and sticky :bang:
