All the advertising is mis-leading. They only made 10 in the metallic purple and none of them come with alloys or roof bars. It seems like the Fiat dealers have no idea about the model either.
Yes it is one of ten if the dealers can be believed. It did come down from Staffordshire so maybe it's true. We really had to push them to get it though. My wife was ready to call off the deal when they refused initially to sorce a purple one. They were still unmoved to find one until I suggested that I might call off my order for a new 500 too. How strange then that they managed to find one the very next day.
On another note, we were contacted by Fiat head office yesterday asking us about the wonderous buying experience with Fiat. We explained our issues as well as the good points. The net result was absolutely nothing done. The dealer still hasn't sent us our old Tax disc as promised, or called us in for the right roof bars and the roof box and alloys we have paid for.

any word on the roof bars? i like the colour, but the bars do look cack, always liked the longys even on teh 100hp
Nope. Fiat have been very quiet in that respect. I fact when we were ordering the alloys the parts guy was asked when they would be in stock to which he replied " dunno. Could be 2 days, 2 weeks, 2 months or even 2 years." Pretty crappy really. It's now a full time job containing the wife's anger.
Well I know when I looked at the Orange Mamy in Desira Fiat. Gt Yarmouth, when he said it was limited edition I asked how many limited was, and he said it's limited edition, but he didn't know if it was for a limited time, or quantity.
Agreed. I personally think the Panda (Even the Active's) look crap without longys. I've always said that they're something I MUST get if ever I get a mk3 hehe
Pretty sure I saw a new mamy at Alnold Clarke in Oldbury where I got my panda from 2 1/2 years ago. I have to admit I aint very impressed by what I saw and as for the orange :yuck:
Oh I'd kill for a 'Mamy Orange' 100hp....:yum:

Bang on, I normally only go for cars in black but an orange 100HP would hit the spot.
Coincidentally had a snoop round one today at Grays in Warwick, looked really cool, think the lady friend wants one now.
Also saw two sets of lovely multi-spoke Grande Punto alloys in the parts dept. One cream coloured and one dark grey. Seriously considering the cream ones (anyone know what a set of Panda 100HP alloys goes for?)

I have a feeling the GP wheels are the wrong fitment for a Panda, best check before you buy!

Ah, could be a problem, bloke on parts reckoned they were for the 500 but they had a sticker saying Grande on them so there might be hope.....if not I have inspiration to have the standard alloys re-finished.
Ditto. They do the normal Panda in a slightly different Orange, and the Grande Punto in the Orange they do is :yum::yum::yum::yum:

Good luck sorting out the alloys and roof bars - a letter to the dealer principal copying Fiat Customer Services may help ... you never know

I saw the very same Mamy in Grays....Hence me wanting a 100hp in that colour...Also saw those alloys...have to agree the cream ones were very :yum::yum::yum::yum:
Alloy's on a Mamy are NOT standard, and are probably an optional fit the dealership has put on it.
