Hello, I have a small question about my tailgate?
I see a button in the plastic. Normally, should the trunk lid be opened when this button is pressed?

I'm not sure if it's a button or something else.

My meter is not sending a signal. I couldn't observe a switch.

Question 2) If it is a button, how can it be repaired?

I suspect your car never had remote locking or remote boot opening

Can you unlock the car by pressing a button on your flip remote key?

Or is it a manual only key,

Remote opening did not became standard on the 1.2 until around 05/06

2 of them are minus parking lights.
1 plus.

There is 1 cable I don't understand.


There is a trunk release button on my remote control. I can open it with the remote control.

The two brown cables have been connected before. But they are not connected anywhere now.

2 of the 4 cables in the trunk lock are broken.

There’s two seperate switches in the boot latch one switches the boot light off one switches the dash light off

I repaired 2 broken cables. I think my front dome light now turns on and off depending on the trunk.

I completed the button assembly.

Even though I made the connections, I cannot check my luggage via the button.

Because my central locking system is aftermarket.

I think the remote control was lost or broken, they found this as a quick solution.

Now I have to check if there is a fault in the original lock system.
And I will investigate how I can return to the original control system.


Also, as seen in the video, the trunk lock does not work when pressed repeatedly.

It works normally but when you press it a few times it doesn't work for a while.

I think the lock motor's gears are stripped.

I couldn't find this lock in my country. It is not available in Fiat service.

I'll try to find it if I can't find it. I'm thinking of connecting the Universal Center lock motor to the wire.
