General Non start

Suddenly at home will not star . Turns over tried to start but will not kick in . Did have flat battery problems a while back got checked garage said it OK. Been running OK since engine light comes on and of had it checked garage replaced both exhaust sensors separately. Problem came back no answer garage. Been over a year with light no problems.
Central locking no longer works as fob fell in water . Got new fob didn't work garage says car fault Suddenly.
So looking at fuel and spark

Ok,
so when you turn the key to MAR,

does the fuel pump in the tank still whirr?

If that whirrs, and the Immobiliser puts on the dash light for a few seconds, then goes out,

Pump does make noise when switched on .dash light which one a few go out
