Actually I want that colour on an Abarth witout the Abarth boy racer stripes and body kit. Mmm sleeper beast!
I have a Panda in this colour, looks fab on a sunny day as my pictures shows! Not very "Retro" though so not sure if it suits the 500.
I've noticed how different a lot of colours look in showrooms due to the fluorescent lighting! Always choose a car colour in brilliant sunlight, certain lighting can alter colours dramatically. Was going to say that the photos at the top of the thread looked a bit off in terms of colour balance and your pictures show just how much

The New Orleans blue is a dark blue yes, but as you can see, when the sun hits it, it does go a nice shiny glowing ocean type blue. The colour you see in the pics is the colour it goes in the sun! See the difference between a dull day and a sunny day.Even moreso when if you're taking pictures and your Whitebalance settings are off as you can see from the pictures at the top which look almost purple whereas your pictures look more like a Subaru Mica Blue. I suspect your camera is actually making it look a bit lighter than it actually is though you're the one with the car sitting out the front
