Technical Blue&Me dead - battery draining - fixed!

I was just looking at a pile of these being fixed a few days ago. Apparently it is low battery initially that scrambles the memory then causes ongoing battery drain. The memory can be removed, reformatted and reloaded and off you go ..... That was in Australia but I am sure someone in the UK is doing it too.

For the cost of fixing it you could buy a good aftermarket head unit
