500 (Classic) My Fiat 500 Project

Fiat 500 that needs saving

Introduction

Hi
My name is Gary. I bought my Fiat off eBay, I didn't go and view it, its a bit rough,,but I have decided not to give up on her, have a look at the pictures and see what you think.
Good luck with the build. It'll be a rewarding project in the end.
Despite their diminutive size, rust hides well in these cars! Fortunately, nearly all panels are readily available.
Mine was externally quite a tidy looking car, but even that required new sills, front panel, arch liners and bottoms.

Quite a challenge, good luck and everything is possible as quite a few have demonstrated here if you look back through the restoration threads 😀

just seek out Peter (aka Fiat500) threads....
I am sure he has one detailing restoration number one, also look up Seans threads I am sure some one will know the link to that

Most of my original restoration was documented elewhere, whilst the late Tony @Vitesse was restoring his in parallel on the same site; it's had well over half a million views: https://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/forum/phpbb/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=13107&highlight=fiat+500
