500 (Classic) 1964 Fiat 500 "Jerry"

Jerry is a barn find....

Introduction

A 500 that most likely hasn't been driven since mid-70's. Has been sitting in a barn since mid-80's, so i guess it is kind of a barn find. Story tells that the car was imported to Sweden 1972 most likely from Germany or Austria, nobody knows for sure. ID plate/tag in the boot says Deutsche Fiat/Neckar?!

It has been in mine possession for 8+ years. I really didn't start working on it until late 2018, hopefully it will be running this year!

Yeah, great job so far. I am sad  to lose the painting of the green valley on the side, though. I guess I'm just a old softy, but it does suggest that someone once really loved 💕 that car enough to spend the time to decorate it that way.

Thanks! Will do for sure! Things are not moving very fast in the garage currently but hopefully it will be running 2023.

Thanks! Hey ronstox, I'll try to post some pictures of the other side. I can honestly not find the "red thread" in the motive.... Anyhow somebody did put some love in it back in the days (probably the 70's).
