Parts are in the post :)

Someone has offered me some 14 inch alfa 5spokes I havent heard much info about them like what model they are off though but they are 4x98

No progress at all really apart from removing the mk2 inlet etc

Another question can a mk1 punto 16v manifold fit the mk2 engine? I noticed its alot smaller

Have had a gander on the forum and correct me if im wrong

do i need to remove the cam sensor and make a blanking plate(as mine IS the mk2b engine)

is there anything else that needs changing?

or more things i have to buy:p

@CENTOpainter how did you go about fixing the pedal it sits too far back in comparison to the other pedal
soon everyone will be doing it this way (harder way) as mk1 16v bits are drying up

Hmm may have a gander on your advert Lee

I made a bracket and mounted the fly by wire accelerator to the bulkhead, its in the same position as the original. Its all ready for me to finish the bodywork........ but in the meantime i did another one with the Mk1 punto loom etc ( Big thanks to Andys Cinq for the help with the last of the wiring ).

As for going from a 1108 to a 1242 16v, its like chalk and cheese mate, youll soon wipe the smiles off their faces ! trust me. :yum:

Soo an update!

Using all the mk1 stuff now!;)

everything is going well however now im stuck

Code light is on!
no fuel pump prime!

when i bridge the fuel pump wire to the positive of the battery i can hear it run so its fine up to the d4 connector!

the key is deffo matching

Help Needed!!!!

There is like an earth on the actual mk1 punto loom, with loads of wires going to it. Make sure you ground that, i bolted it to the coil packs.

Did you connect the red/black wire to the bullet collector under the battey tray?

In principle yes, but what is the ECU exactly, IAW 18FD?

IAW 18FD is a pre (E)OBD technology, so my guess is that you can forget the Tourque or similar app. I am also not entirely sure what Fiat/Multi ECU Scan would do. But IAW ECU Scan 2 will work and tell you the state of the immobilizer.
