rigghtt sooo car still isnt started yet i have no tdc error anymore! no faults whatsoever

so ive been tackling the bodywork

wet sanded the entire car (2500)

and tucked in the windscreen and rear window seals so no need to remove

the boot needs attention where ive smoothed the lock off (happens to be where the crease in the boot lid is and is a pain getting it looking sport on)

smoothed off the front bumper (removed the side strips)

now as for paint

got my replacement paint to find............it drys glossy!

so blow it its going GLOSS battleship grey instead tried it out on a spare panel
and was pleased with the outcome (il upload pic in next post)

painting commences tomorrow!

wish me luck!

ah almost forgot i need to take the spark plugs out to see it the injectors are firing (if plugs are wet) however i can get them out theres a silly rubber thing in each one and what size is the socket LOL driving me nuts lol

right so i have voltage at the injectors and they are clicking :)

so i took the rail of to discover............

theres no fuel in it!

think it maybe the regulator on the end thats seized up anyway i can test it

Fuel pump is working its like theres an air lock in the rail vaccuum line cant open regulator

Take off the fuel line, preferably directly at the pump and keep priming it until you get a fountain. I got an air lock like this once when I went too far below the reserve (actaully I dried it out, but managed to reach my destination runnig on fumes). Also had the same thing when changing the pump, and once when tilted the car with emptish tank for too long.
