Mucking around with styles

I'm trying out some new looks to things on the forum, however most peoples browsers seem to cache the images, so if something looks a bit odd now, do a full refresh (the old CTRL+F5) again...

Going to keep working on new designs until the perfect one is found, so please feel free to add comments!

I for one am not so sure about the New Post icons and "Forum New" icons, I wonder if they look a bit too "cutsie" - or are they just more friendly? :chin:

Well, it certainly looks different!

I am liking it generally - just some of the 'new post' icons are hard to get used to...

Have you got templates you can use, or doing them all from scratch?

Hmmm, now I have been looking round the forum a bit more, definitely don't like the small icons - could hardly tell whether a thread was locked or not, but then saw an ickle x in it!

I guess that's the problem with getting older

Will look into making them a bit clearer, however in answer to your previous question - the icons are from an icon set (i didn't make them) - i just did the rest of it.

I like it - the site looked quite "Windows 2000" before. Now it looks more "Windows XP" (My own site looks quite "Windows 3.1"!

I like the new style, but not the colour scheme for the new posts, i find it diffeicult to see being slightly colourblind. I find it difficult to tell between the greens and the oranges. This is on the main screen obviously.

Obviously if no one else has a problem then i would be ok with it.

I'm having serious issues changing my signature. Keeps complaining that its bigger than size 3.. When I change all the text and spaces to under size 3 it blows it all upto size 10 approx.

Mine doesn't either! But it's easily fixed when a final colour scheme is chosen!

Generally speaking tho, I like the new look!
