Thats still a load of work filling and with silver the car will need to be blown over to get everything to match.
Was thinking that myself, must be a bit of a nance my 1yr old grand daughter could have done more. Sorry KC any damage is bad enough but expected much more so thank goodness it's not.

It is indeed a bit of a bugger.
I only hope that that the law prevails and that you are not out of pocket and the b will be looking as good as ever once fixed.

Dont look so bad in pics, and suppose could have been worse.
I will be getting a new door on and possibly a new mirror too, and there is scratches to the wing but the B's off side will need to be completly blown in so as to match paintwork. there is damage to the hood window and not sure if they will fix that or replace it.
Ive got a big excess so will insist on a new one. maybe there will be a silver linning to all this after all.

KC, I have a spare bit of screen material, if you can get someone to sew it in you are welcome to it
Really sorry mate, makes me sick to the stomach to think that the t@@@@r can do this and walk away from it, I really hope that the bib get him for it.

Hi Alan, I keep chasing up the police, but they have told me no arrest has been made. they have attempted to find him at home on two occasions with no avail.
They re coved no clear prints from the vehicle and could not use the foot prints around the scene as they wouldn't stand up in court.
There notes are that no CCTV are in the area , when i have told them there is one at the top of my road by a junction and there is a possibility that it may have captured his vehicle in the area.
My X partner is his alibi and Say's he was with her at the time and so i hope that if they pursue and check this camera it would catch both of them out.
Just waiting now, but they have all backed off and no longer calling me for the time being so thats a relief.

Can't use the footprints? how can they know till they have siezed his footware? Plus if there is an issue it's probably due to the idiots at scene turning up and walking all over them
I would keep pushing them mate, I would also consider that the investigation was hampered by the first officers on scene ruining the evidence :shakehead:

Alan, looks like the local police here are not as good as you and you team up there. i will continue to press with things and hopefully get a result.

I have moved the cars , the turbo has gone into safe place and the silver has been moved too. the garage is waiting for a new door to come from italy and this will take a month so repairs will not be for a while. My Van has had to go in for some paint work too as someone wacked into the back of me last month.

So using a hire van for time being.
Cant see this situation between me and my X getting any better in the short term or long term, Think i will be selling both vehicles , house too if i can and go visit family in Cyprus for a while.
