General Injector Light keeps coming on and car kind of cuts out for a couple of seconds

I have Just Fitted a De-Cat to my Punto Convertible and since ive done that sometimes the injector light comes on and then it seems to scutter and once taken my foot of accelerator and put it back on it gones off again.

Could the De-Cat have something to do with it? Should i put my Cat back on?

how many o2 sensors are they on the mk1s? my mk2 has 2 one post and pre Cat. when i left the bottom one unpluged the car as not running well and cutting out alot.

Only gone one on the Flexi pipe. before the De-cat. Done it twice now since i put the De-Cat on. Ive heard it can bugger the CPU up after a while.
