General HELP !!!

So fingers crossed should get some clean fuel through to fuel filter, are you replacing the fuel filter once clean fuel there?
How about priming to injector pump, any ideas?
Once at pump, it should be fairly easy to open injector unions , spin engine till fuel clean of bubbles , nip them up and hear the engine run, fingers crossed again.;)
Yes 25 ltrs of clean diesel a new fuel filter then use the vacuum pump to draw the fuel through the system , Sounds easy , Time will tell
if I get the brum brum , Always the optimist :)

If possible I would pump it through the old filter into a container and then fit new filter, so all good fuel flushed through the system, as injector pumps are a bit picky with dirty fuel.:)

The old filter is off already, The pipe from the tank to the filter is only about 1 meter long and is also empty, I will fill the new filter with new clean diesel
before screwing it up onto the filter holder.

Yes it is clean and yes it is red diesel.
Just a small point I remembered red diesel is more likely to find bacteria growing in the fuel, which can start as a build up around the pick up filter a bit "jelly like" if deposit was a bit like that then it may be worth adding some diesel Biocide to the fuel in tank to kill off any future return of the bug as it grows in diesel eventually blocking all the system including filters , pump and injectors!!!:(

I will do that , I did it in the boat fuel tanks I previously owned .

Sunday is not looking good for any progress

Further progress yesterday , Rigged up the alternative diesel supply
Taped the pipe onto a small jack handle and lowered it into the tank
Then the pipe around the front door post , Across the windscreen then down into the engine bay.
Connected the supply end onto the facet fuel pump , Then out of the pump into a plastic fuel can
Make up a small loom from the pump up onto the battery , give it a test run and nothing , The pump would not self prime
Then a bit of human suction trying to avoid mouth full of diesel and the managed to get the pump working,
At this point it started getting dark so aborted until next time , Good job I am not in a rush to get this sorted
Will have another go after Christmas .

Personally I would avoid any human pump priming as experience says you will taste it for some time after, so diesel flavoured turkey not good.;)
Was ignition on so solenoid in injector pump allowing flow?
Apart from that you could try gravity fuel flow direct to injector pump as it has worked for me from a 5 litre can , but only for a short while as no return to can only tank.

Does anyone know what pipe is the inlet into the pressure pump ? Is it the one nearest the timing belt cover or the one on the other end where the 4 injector pipes are ? one is a feed the other I assume is the return , Doh! my head is hurting.

Hi, fuel in to injection pump cam belt end.
Fuel return opposite end .
Cheers
J

After trying everything I know I am at the point of giving up , About to visit a local garage that does commercial as well as
Cars and vans , Wish me luck , I do not like being defeated :(

Check there is power at the stop solenoid on the injection pump with ignition on.

Fingers Crossed!
Just a note on your first posts - legally, the badges on a vehicle must match the log book - so Peugeot badges on Fiat could cause problems one day.
