Hi all
Bad starting problem ususual all turns over won't fire for ages
New fuel filter
New battery
Glow plugs reading 3 at .6 ohms
1 at .8 ohms
Do I need to change plug(s)

It has now developed a further problem . If it does start it almost immediately does even if I try to rev it. ???

Glow plug light acts normal .it's funny you should say about the rail pressure because i pulled what I think is rail pressure sensor and it started .Could not get it to do it twice

I will look up rail pressure test. Many thanks.
One more thing what is your opinion on the small difference in ohms for glow plugs
Many thanks

I never had much luck when checking resistance values

On the older TDs I would pull the plugs and check they glowed cherry when direct to the battery.. most plugs.. 22/24 were fine.. so the 12v supply.. and of course the plugs earthing to the block were suspect

If you plug diagnostic kit into the OBD port you can read live rail pressures ;)
