I've been for my bridesmaid fitting and my dress doesn't fit, would appear that the going to the gym has lost me half a stone but I've put two inchies on my bust and an inch on my bum how I have no clue, 8 weeks to go and im not going to the gym

Av no excuses now not to get fit since uni's finished. Just like you Harper think it'll be good to clock in weekly, might brave the scales later

Update time. It's been a sort of good/bad week for me. Good in that I'm still running and my distances are increasing at a greater rate than I expected. The dodgy ankle isn't giving me any grief and I hope to be up to half marathon distance before September. The bad is I'm still eating crisps and chocolate when I know I shouldn't be. So the aim for next week is no crisps/chocolate/alcohol Sunday to Friday evening and to stick to it this time

Thank goodness I went for a run yesterday as today is definitely a sofa day. It's miserable out there and I ain't going anywhere

Just back from baby swim with the two girls, having 5mins before heading to a kids party then my parents are taking us all out for dinner tonight.

Didn't brave the scales, but have cut back on chocolate and crisps :( Kind of made up for it with a couple of cumbrian ale's last night :)

Well one week back from holidays. Have been having cornflakes with milk for breakfast, home made ham sandwiches and a fruit corner for lunch. Only the occassional chocolate bar here and there so kinda back on track. Going to the gym after work tonight, first time in at least a month. Erk!

Morning 6am run before work is the best :) . Get ripped peeps :)

Hell no, that's the time I leave for work.

Apparently morning runs are best for training though. You're not at your best and have to work harder therefore improving quicker.

I'm on the same boat with cycling.

Found cycling before work more tiring, but definately more rewarding. Bugger is I'd have to get up at silly o clock on a daily basis, so a week or two of that was enough. That said its not raining now, so Im half tempted to set my alarm clock for early doors and get out on the bike later. Maybe...

Hmm..due to long hours just now with a heavy session of painting/decorating & moving I'm falling back into bad habbits. HOWEVER the one saving grace is the new flat is on the 8th floor. I've probably run up the stairs to the place more often than I've taken the lift. Trying to only use the lift when moving heavy stuff/furniture etc.

Quite a few folk commented the past couple of days that I've lost some weight - so it's all good!

Quitting this for a while :)

9 months kind of quitting?

I've been walking and biking a bit more, feel a bit slimmer round the face but need to try harder. Cut out a lot of junk recently so hopefully that will also help

Christ no that'd be my worst nightmare!

And I don't mean the quitting

why quit hmm ?

Because I'm heading south to spend time with people who no longer need to worry about a healthy diet and I have very little will power.

Which granted is a pathetic excuse but I don't care ;)
