More like a very good weekend ;)

But it's back to behaving myself again. No chocolate, crips or booze until Friday and it's back to the walk/run thing tonight

diet has slipped for me too. Was up too early to make lunch so it's chips from the canteen and a bottle of diet coke.

Had a good jog/walk last night tho. I'm now managing to run a mile without having to stop within a four mile circuit.

Well kinda kept on the wagon towards the end of the week, better breakfasts etc again.

Weather permitting (and I think the snow has just gone off) Im going out on the bike again this morning. But my right knee is feeling the strain of the last few mornings efforts :(

You really don't want me to update this ;) but I will anyway :D

After a weekend of eating and drinking all the wrong things plus a slip up in the week I fully expected to have put on weight. Weigh-in was on Thursday (a day early too) and I've lost a kilo

Plus, I used a route planner to suss just how far I'm actually running and it's actually 1.5 miles. Last night I increased it to 2 miles in a 4 mile circuit :)

I've feeling just a tad pleased with myself

Damnit!

Went out today - usual route, along the line to Duthie Park, over to Abotswell, doon Laundry Brae, Wellington Road, over the suspension Bridge then back along Riverside Drive - where I was passed by at least one FS'er in a blue Civic...Back onto the old line and then home. Absolutely soaked to the skin. Meh!

Right knee definately playing up.

Working tonight so will be on water only, no cokey cola or that. Back out on the bike tomorrow, regardless of weather. Hoping to maybe put in 15 miles again, but need it to be a bit better for that!

Take a few days rest at least. If you've got some pain there's something wrong and you'll do more harm by continuing to train. I speak from experience

i counted a while back that i'd spent a combined total of 19 months on crutches from various knee injuries when i was younger, infact the only knee related injuries i've not had are kneecap related, never broke or dislocated that, still on my to do list seemingly

I agree with Mark, no cycling until a few days after your knee stops hurting. You can speed things up by putting ice on it and taking ibuprofen. I hate to say this but you're approaching the age where your body takes longer to heal so if you push things now you're setting yourself up for a worse injury.
