hi, guys
im thinking of fitting daytime running lights to my 55 plate multijet
wheres the best to connect to
pref in the engine bay somewhere
cheers, steve.
Which is why I have gone back to riding without headlight on, but wear flourescant jacket and yellow helmet, I am now the dark spot between all the lights!Personally I think DRLs should be compulsory on motorbikes and pedal cycles, but cars are big enough already so why did they ever need them? All we have achieved now is a sea of dazzling LEDs with the bikes and cycles hidden in the glare.
Which of course is exactly what bike and cycle pressure groups predicted when DRLs were imposed on the motor industry.
.
Many study's have found they reduce accidents that why they were made compulsory
DRLs should only be used in daytime so I don't know how you are getting much dazzle from them?
I've never had an issue with them?
hi, 62 views & no help yet:bang: has no one fitted after market drli will just buy the full light kit with instructions
regards,steve
A few weeks ago I was driving on Dartmoor. Typical Dartmoor weather - from thick fog to glorious sunshine in a few miles, and back again. In the fog you could see the cars with DRL's coming towards you (not as well as those with dipped headlights), but you couldn't see most of them when coming up behind them as the DRL's on many cars don't activate the rear lights.
Don't do it!
Aftermarket DRLs look awful. I've never seen an install that looks remotely like it should be on the car.
Usually seen on cars sporting badly spaced numberplates in silly fonts and / or with In-gur-land logos on them.
