Also watched MR & MRS Smith (y) (y)

ok so we just got back from seeing MI3 and cant say was anything special  cant say id recommend it but it maybe more of a guy thing

saw an advert for 'over the hedge' a kiddies film which looked interesting :p, oh and the fast & furious 3 which would see just for the cars  and think the other one which looked interesting was the omen.

The other night sammi and I watched March of the Penguins.
85 minutes of penguins. Ideal for the most ardent penguin fan. Others may find it a bit too much penguin.
Sammi liked it.

went and saw silent hill last night, well gory(y)

from a film point of view it wasn't great, but just as an experiance it was good, followed the game more or less to the point inc the woggly hot nurses and grabby & disformed babies etc,.

there was just no point to it, I mean basically they won over the evil little kids evil side and real remains, and yet they drove out of there and still weren't out of the limbo smoggy mist? I don't get it? do they make it out ever??

*I only played game no,1 (on the N64?)

x men 3: the last stand

normally i'd be quite happy to pull the trigger on a 9mm aimed at brett ratners head (red dragon, rush hour 2 anyone....)

but i though x men was awesome, really well done, and for once strom wasn't some little girl lost on the sidelines!!
and kelsey grammer, an action star with brains and balls, a revelation, i look forward to more blue furball!

btw the trailer for the new bond and superman were pretty damn good, hairs on the back of the neck stuff, can't wait

Seen X-Men 3 at the weekend too, come on Jai, Red Dragon is one of the best films ever, Hannibal to quote you sucks like a Dyson all this with Mr Scott helming it too!

I thought it wasn't as good as Singers efforts, felt action over intelligence to me, the SFX are great though and the action set pieces were great.

Loved the begining with the CGI Stewart and McKellan!

The Superman film looks great, see the bullet going towards his eye then it rolls up and hits the deck? Class! Spacey too but since this is Singers baby what would you expect?

Miami Vice too as well as Casino Royale both have great action from the trailers.

Seen The Da Vinci Code too, felt it was an OK film, not in love with the subject matter but it holds it's own as decent film. Perhaps it is overhyped but that isn't the Studio's or Distributors fault just the press!

went to see xmen 3 last night was quite suprised, i didnt expect to enjoy it as not usually my kinda film but i did (y)

the next on the list is the omen

Hmmm, 3 rented DVD's this weekend

Just Friends

Match Point

Fun with Dick & Jane

Just Friends was very average to be critical then you can't really imagine Reynolds as a fat guy and when he becomes thin he is just Van Wilder, doesn't work and the gags are predictable.

Match Point, wow this was a long drawn out afair, decided to go out of my comfort zone with this one and it only reinforced why I don't usually do it, long wait for a supposedly twisted ending but it was crap.

Fun with Dick and Jane, Jim Carrey's crazy movements and funny noises aren't funny anymore IMO, forgetful flick.

I saw the Davinci code last week and thought it was really good.
If uv read the book ul love the film cos its really close to it.

The only major bit they missed out was the soppy end which made the film soooo much better :D

So go see it :p

well we went to see the omen yesterday. had to be done we figured. there were some seriously freaky bits and some bits that made you jump. i thought it was quite good, although i havnt seen the original. :)

the comedy moment came from someone in the audience who had clearly had a few drinks taking a slight tumble down the steps :( bet was painful.
