Note :
That does NOT mean..
'Better than FIVE STARS'
perception they sell a lot
sell 1,000,000 and have 100 fail you will see 100 complaints on forums as people mostly only write when things go wrong.
0.01% failure rate
sell 1,000 and get 1 fail there will be only one complaint
0.1% failure rate
statistically the one with 100 complaints is x10 more reliable. Plus the increased volume means there will be far more fitting errors and its rare anyone holds their hands up and admit their errors on a public forum.
take a look at transmech and blueprint clutch on forums.
Blueprint are ok
Transmech are rubbish
there the same just rebranded. Just one is sold by the millions via ECP
dont forget every original thermostat fails. The older type the seal fails and the new type the plastic pipe falls off. Although they do normally last 10 plus years.
the casting of the pattern parts aren't generally as good as the original, But I personally have never had one fail including cheap ones bought from ECP
if I had the newer type with the plastic pipe I would look at a pattern part with a metal pipe rather than an original.
