We've been back doing our weekly supermarket shop for a couple of weeks now. All through the lockdown, and for a bit afterwards, our oldest boy did our shopping for us because he was/is terrified we are going to catch the virus.
We never really make a detailed list to take with us, just wander round the shelves taking what we need, so making a list for him was quite a novelty. Whilst he's been doing the shopping we've saved an absolute fortune and we realize now that its because we are not picking up all the "rubbish" we usually do! Crisps, the odd chocolate bar, two instead of one pack of choc chip cookies, etc, etc. We are resolved to make, and stick to, a list from now on. Wonder if we'll manage to keep to it?
