Altbergs are the way forward mate,

Ive had a few pairs and they are quality, although they are probably a bit more money than the converse ones

I've had a few people tell me to try Altbergs and just as many tell me not to bother.
The Sneeker Aqua was the ones I looked at buying but 2 Army friends said they were a stupid design as when they came to attention the laces on the inner surfaces got tangled. There's a few reveiws stating the same thing if you google it. My thoughts were if they can tangle they'd be no good for me walkin through bramble bushes and stuff so I gave them a miss.

Never had that problem myself.

Ive got a pair of defender microlights, had them for about 7 years and they were used daily whilst in the army.

My other pair are bog standard defenders bought when i joined the police and worn daily since.

Both a just about ready for a resole and the uppers are still in very good condition.

I would say that the ankle and leg area is more flexible than say Lowas but i prefer it, and for what you want them for it wouldnt be an issue

Thanks I'll certainly be taking a closer look at them after these Converse. (y)

I would try and have a look any boots and try them on before you buy, as they are a lot of money if you arent totally happy with them.

Only place i know of that stocks a lot of Altbergs is John Bulls at Catterick, which is only a few miles from the factory.

Bit of a way from Wolves though

My boots were delivered at 8am this morning. Unfortunately I wasn't home so the kids got to them first. Here's my youngest son modeling them. lol

Presumably you mean an Air Pistol....?

No. :D

One of my fathers gun club friends is a collector of old flint lock pistols and rifles. Some are six feet long.
They sneak me in for an hour or two and I help with loading. I fire the pistols sometimes, mad things they are.

The target is 20 meter away. FLASH, BANG, MISSED. :(

How the hell anyone ever got shot with one is beyond me.

Edit
If anyone is interested check this out.
