was one once since i got it back said something about pointer, but then went too fast for me to read any thing else.
got this in a box when i restarted

i dont what to use to read .dmp with and cant find path C:\Users\liz\AppData

You need to be a microsoft engineer to read a dmp file, and appdata is a hidden system folder.

Random rebooting is usually memory or overheating processor. Does it do it on battery or power or both?

D620 is an ooooooold laptop. I've had 2 more since I had a D600 series at work!

its battery don't last 5 minutes so its plugged in. ive had it to bits and blown all the dust out today. dont some memory tests with that hirens cd and they all passed.
got it in safe mode atm and its not rebooted yet

i found version.txt naff all in that,

If it's stable for long enough check "System" in the event viewer and look for any "Disk 0" warnings especially to do with disk cache flushing.

ive tried removing ms works that they installed, but cant installer isnt working, ive downloaded and upgraded it, but still no work

i only installed avast and adaware, its not part of them is it?

i searched the system for sunbelt, and sunbelt, and all i found was text file in adaware logs saying

ive removed adaware from start up list, rebooting see what happens

that didnt work, restarted, tried reinstalling that windows installer and got blue screen half way through

Uninstall Adaware completely and run CCleaner to clean and correct the Registry.

Run it a few times on the registry until it says 0 errors.

went from 64 issues to 1 issue then no issues.

No problem.

That should clear it off the system to stop it coming up again.

its installing updates 30 of 82 atm.

does this mean the new adaware is clashing with avast? i'm still running the old adaware on my pc along side avast, the new one is called an anti virus the old one wasnt.
