cheap dash cam?

Well after recent events. And the fact I wanted to murder some golf driving prick today driving like a helmet. I want to buy a dash cam, looking to spend about 100quid only want front facing feed and would like it to be discrete.

What would you guys recommend? :)
Most discrete would be something like the mobius or the innovvC1
If you want a screen on it then the mini 0801 gets great reviews - but these are slightly bulkier.

OK let me try that question again.

What is the make/model of your 4 dual cams that give no problems?

F70

Looks like my camera is having a bit of an issue. Seems I'm getting quite a few corrupt recordings, looks like its when my journey finishes the last recording is corrupt. Ive formatted the card and will have to see if it persists.

Whats the best front/rear view cam now?

Ours still from what I can see :)

Hmm might see if I can get a new one. Anywhere in particular recommended to buy from? Any preferred re-sellers?

Edit: just had a look, only looks like 1 reseller currently selling them, ebay item number 161172667944 - however this shows the old rear cam, also shows some pics as the unit without the rear cam capability. confusing or what!

It feels cheap and nasty and looked like it had already been out of the box.... Menu options dead easy to use etc, the screen mount is a bit naff and doesn't actually allow me to position the camera at the right angle. Suction cup was pretty useless, the camera fell off on the first corner, tried to refit but it started to slide down the screen. Sat nav mount sticks like poo to a blanket in the space spot.

Will try fidling a bit more tomorrow, so far I am pleased it hasn't cost me anything, but if I had paid for it would be pretty annoyed. Haven't had a chance to connect to PC and retrieve foot well videos lol

More info coming tomorrow!

Test flight number 2 much more successful. Although the most ideal position for filming overlaps the rear view ever so slightly which is tedious. The mount didn't "let go", although I did get the car uber hot before "licking and sticking" the suction cup. Retreiving the files is easy and they played straight away with no faffing with codecs etc. I need to fiddle some more with the light balance etc, and need to wire it in (running on it's own battery at the mo). Would also like to have the screen turn off.

Yesterday I would not rate it, today I am more pleased with it. Who knows by the end of next week I might want to marry it! :slayer:
