Is it possible to change Panda mk2 head rests bewteen models? So, swap out the nonadjustable plastic ones for the cushioned Eleganza head rests?

Could front head rests be swapped to the rear? They look the same.

Also, does anyone know whether 500 or Punto head rests would fit?

Cheers!

Sadly, I don't think so. The non-adjustable moulded headrests are bolted in place, and removing seems to involve removing the seat covers. More here.

It's probably easier to get replacement seats. 500 and Ford Ka seats also fit.

Does anyone know how to get the rear head rests out of the seat? Mine wont go beyond the top limit. (100HP but I expect they are all the same)

P.34 of the manual states they should come out if both buttons are pressed:

Cheers for that. I've seen some Panda rear seats that have the plastic rests fitted and I'd want to swap them to match the front ones. Sounds like this won't work.

I read about 500 seats fitting but I didn't know about Ka seats.(y)

I'll need to keep an eye on the classifieds for some Eleganza split rear seats or something else that will fit.

Might also be an idea to check with breakers yards or search on eBay for breaking panda / 500 / Ka, then ask the vendor if they have the seats.

500 (especially Abarth:yum:) / Ka seats are considered something of an upgrade over the Panda's. Apparently they don't have that charming metal bar that digs into the lower back.
