AHH I see

My mistake the clue was in the title

They drain and refill them

Cool at least that should keep a few more on the road

I got mine from them last month for FrankenPanda after noticing my VC was locked during the restomod process.

It is not an easy task to get one if you are not in Italy, but as I have proven myself, it is possible.

Here's some stuff you need to keep in mind:
  • They are a little workshop in the outskirts of Alcamo, a little town in Sicily, basically a family business.
  • As you can see from the website, this is your usual countryside workshop, nothing fancy, but very trustworthy and doing a good job.
  • They don't answer the email for some reason (even though I wrote in Italian to them), so I got an Italian friend to call them and ask for the VC.
  • They said they only sell in person or ship to Italy for 15€, but we convinced them to sell the thing and a courier would pick it up.
  • It was 230€ - They sent an invoice to my friend's email, I paid it, no webshop involved.
  • My friend had to chase them constantly to request the invoice, ask if the box was ready for pickup, etc. It was difficult to get a hold of them, usually they picked up the phone in the evening tho. He is from Milano, so imagine his usual frustration "with the Southerner work style" :D
  • The parcel was 5kg, 20x20x15 IIRC (same box as the picture in the first message of this thread). I organised the shipping for 20€ to Tallinn. Check options from Packlink, Eurosender, and Ecoparcel to see which one is the best deal for you.
  • Important: You need to send back your old VC (mine actually arrived at their shop today BTW). In reality, you are supposed to drop your VC in their shop, and they instantly give you a refurbished one if they have it, so you don't need to wait. If the webshop says they don't have any available, then you might need to send your VC beforehand, or wait until my old one is refurbished :p
Tl;Dr: Either you speak Italian and can call, or have an Italian friend helping you with the management. Be ready to organise the shipping both ways (to receive the new one, and to send the old one back).

Here is a video of how the restoration goes:
.

Some pics of the new one (as received and installed), and the old one which is now in Sicily waiting to be refurbished and hopefully give new life to a new Panda.

Cheers!

Yeah @GerarGD, I tried to contact them to get mine fixed before I went the Prometheo route. I still have mine on the desk, planning to renovate it. If it goes according to plan I might even open up to do it for others who can't speak Italian. 😁
