As far as alonso's performace at mclaren, ive never rated him as a "true" champion to be honest,, reason being that he won his titles in the 2 years that there was nobody with the pace to chalenge him and the renaults, there was kimi for a while in 2005 but Mclaren were plagued with relliability problems and the ferrari's simply were slow, until mid season 2006 when the ferraris found pace and were suddenly challenging renaults constructors and the drivers championship within half a season, it was then that you sould see the real difference between the likes of mchael schumacher and fernando alonso,.,
So for its looking like fernando can be quick for mclaren but lewis has more consistancy which is more important., Although i dont agree with all the hype going around about lewis being the next schumacher, its just way too early to make statments like that, so far hes had it fairly easy but murphys law will have its shot at him,.,
As for the Factory Honda's, this is there first year in F1 as a Factory team as they took over from BAR so there was always gonna be teething problems, They have a lot of new parts due on a new car so should see an improvment there,.,
The Super Aguri's were performing very well on sunday too and great to see sato put on up on fernando, ive always thought they should have kept sato at honda instead of getting barricello but now barricello is constantly quicker that button so id say give jenson his old car back in the form of a transfer to super aguri and have sato and rubens on the factory team.,
Sato never really under performed while at BAR he was just plagued with ingine failures. gearbox probs etc,
