hi guys. newbie here

purchased a 2nd hand 2017 Tipo recently and keep getting a dash light flash up with warning "FRONT BRAKE CONTROL RADAR SENSOR TEMPORARILY BLINDED".

Anyone had this? is it easy/cheap to fix?

any advice greatly appreciated. thanks

Check the sensor at the front of the car its at the side of the lower grill I'd your lucky it may just be dirty or lose fitting

But if not I fear this could be a experience issues

Possible it’s dirty or a loose /dirty connection. Mine sometimes flashes up in rain or deep puddles. When some idiot reversed into my bumper the little black cover which it sits behind slightly popped out so worth checking.

Thanks guys

I did check it but seems to be sitting right and everything. Oh well. Not a major problem

Jackwhoo - no I purchased 2nd hand

Hi

You can probably scan for errors being a 2017.. at least you might know if its an 'intermittant lost signal'

laters cars dont like the normal OBD kit like MultiECUScan..

But worth looking into a read for errors

thanks very much. i have ordered an OBD reader and will give it a go. it's worth a shot as the kit wasn't expensive and is useful to have

thanks for your advice
