Best place to get my diagnostics read?

I need to find out why the engine light keeps coming on on my fiat panda and wondered where is the best place to get this done, for example, do I have to go to a Fiat garage or is there a cheaper alternative?

Buy an elm327 lead and get multi ecu scan on your laptop and do it yourself

If you bothered to fill out your details properly, there might be someone local with ecu scan.

But most of the codes should be readeable by any code reader (assuming new Panda). Post the codes, not the person who reads the code reader's interpretation!

Yes, slightly harsh, I would prefer people not to know everything about me, plus, I'm asking on behalf of my Husband as he is too busy, but thanks to those helpful people, I shall look into getting the cable to check ourselves!

yes that IS the cheapest way - if you already own the laptop..!!,
I don't so spent my £20 on a dedicated "codereader",

earnt it's keep resetting things on my Nephews VW, :bang:

Never had a fault on my FIATS,
1st question on MOST panda issues is "How old is the cars Battery..??"

Point is, it's cheaper to have a friendly local forum user with a reader do it for free!
