note the laquer coming off the car ..its all over ...the bonnet is completely gone and the roof ..its a 15 year old car so it wasn't worth me trying to find the culprit ....i just hope they scratched their car badly .

What gets me is how bad the dent is and scrapes on it ...just how fast were they going reversing in or out .!!..?

Oh no! No security footage?
i know ..i regret not asking now for any security footage ..the only reason for me not asking was because my car already looks quite bad with all the laquer peeled off and its a 14 year old car ..having a replacement wheel arch would still make it look odd ..a new shiny painted part over an old matt red body ...i mean had it been in good condition paint wise then i would have definately asked for any security footage ..but as it is .....is it really worth all the hassle of first finding the culprit ..insurance and swapping details.. the garage and everything else ...i also think it would cost more to repair than what the car is worth ..14 years old ..no laquer/ and 84000 miles on the clock as well

Get it reported and claimed. Your car will get the lacquer fixed in the repair if they catch the person!
i should have done that immediately really at 3.30 pm this afternoon..now i have driven home ..now 11.30 pm ..its too late ..i don't think the car park will bother now that i have driven it away from the car park ..sort of kicking myself now .think i will just have to bite the bullet on this one by just accepting it .

I’d go back, they’ll have footage for more than one day. If they don’t give it to you, your insurance will force them to. If they still try to not play ball or say the cameras aren’t working… try find who their insurers are and inform them you’ll be letting them know their cctv isn’t working. Usually that works with stubborn local businesses.

I hope you get it sorted. That would be so hateful to find when walking back to the car :(
