ive seen em in Motor World today, any1 know if a Sporting Dash will fit into an 899
Should be ok, you may need to change the speedos over as I haven't got a clue if there's any gearing differences between the drives for 899 and 1108 - but they used to sell an 899cc SX with a rev counter etc. so all the wiring should be there somewhere.

nice one might try and get hold of a 899 sx dash then, just so i can have a rev counter, how will the counter wire in nyhow ?
It will probably just plug straight in - chances are the plugs are the same for the s and sx, but I couldn't really guarantee it.
