Asda snow socks £35

Went and got some from Asda on my way home from work. Only had small and medium so couldn't get any large for the Stilo.

Had them out of the box, you get a nice laminated instruction card, and they come in a neat high vis yellow storage bag for keeping them in. Seem really well built, and well worth the £35 IMO.

was there a chart somewhere with sizes in relation to wheel size? .. small, medium etc? i'm on my phone

i'd imagine 14's would be small/medium?

Yeah it's on the box, really clear and simple, seems size is more to to with tyre width than diameter from what I could gather.

The small will do all the 13s on our Pandas, and the 14s on mums Yaris and dads Panda, the 15s and 17s on the Stilo need large but only just due to them being wide, if slightly thiner mediums would have done according to the chart :bang:

I found a review of snow socks on amazon, the guy didn't rate them because he had to jack the car up to fit them - the muppet obviously didn't realise that yo fit 3/4 of the thing first then roll the car back or forwards to fit the remainder - and the amount of snow under or around makes no difference.
Police ought to take licences away from people like that.:D
When I next go to costco I'll drop into ASDA & pick up some of those for the eldest's XMAS box, might also get a set for the future DiL for Xmas.

Absolutely nothing wrong with RWD. :bang: Ask anyone who has ever driven an old KDF-wagen in snow.

You clearly didnt read that post then did you?
