General 500 N/D long roof conversion

I have removed the roof shell and now wondering how does the cross brace come off? Is it weld in or can it be tapped out? Photo exclosed.

I think it is welded. Can you buy a replacement?

welded in... you should see a few spot welds... either drill them or get a spot weld removal bit.....

they are no replacements available.....

you need to either cut out the front mounts and reposition them at the rear for the roof frame or make some up...
