These two line

The ECU heat sink and the white and red

Fuse and it's location is right below the 25 amps based on the cover mapping

It powers the ECU I thought it would be easier from here than at ECU end

Be a good start anyway to take a measurement from here to the ECU case

But it doesn't check the cable

And btw if you want a view of the fuse box wiring from beneath it's quite simple the compartment can be removed independently and flipped over

You mean voltage drop between the fuse and the heat shield?

9.7v between fuse and heat shield on the red and white wire side from the bottom of the fuse box

Going to prob the wire found it in the upper loom after removing the loom's back cover

Wait

Do the same test as earlier

Clear the codes

But this time log the battery voltage as well as the RPM

Let's see how far it falls and when the RPMs start against time

I'm getting 6.91v on the ECU side is that normal? Ignition on and measuring from the back of the loom while plugged between negative and the red and white wire

Rechecked it gave 8.54v on ignition on and 12v when closed between the positive of the battery and the red and white on the back of the ECU loom

Right

If we are measuring in the right place

We have a problem here

The ECU is permanently power

We are measuring the permanent feed

The ECU is told to wake up when the ignition is switched on

The draw increase, fuel pump kicks in, dash lights up, selector pump and so on

I would not expect a 3.5V drop and after a few second after the pumps have stopped it should measure the same as the battery voltage
