Few things.
Recieved my GT steering wheel and my lowering springs.
Also I cleaned the inside properly - Hoovered, Scrubbed the carpets with an old dish scrubby thing with fairy liquid + water, cleaned all windows, cleaned the dash!
Took me ages!
The pics below also show the superbrite (actually spelt like that, weird) flashing LED that my Dad wired up so when my ignition goes off it comes on and when I turn the key it auto turns off.
And fitted a green LED for my foglights in my speedo unit but tis a bit bright at the moment so it needs a resistor to dim it.
I also polished and waxed yesterday.

Things to do:
I need to sort out my arieal - I can't get a decent signal at all. My Dad seems to think its the cable that goes to the roof as we replaced the whole unit outside of the car and it still did not fix :(
I need some red colour coded paint for my wings where I took my badges off. There is an outstanding dent so I'm going to hit it in with a body shop hammer utensil then fill it and spray, so it's all smooth.
Need to fit my springs.
I also need some black mats!
Let me know what you think and thanks for reading. Dan

doin realy well now mate (y)
iv got some front light covers for a mk1 if your interested. the make them look smaller a bit and also cover up the split inbetween the indicator and headlamp. i recon itd look smart on yours spraying them red. let us know if interested.
btw they are brand new. i baught them being told theyed fit a mk2 but clearly didnt and i wouldhave lost out on money sending them back etc. so been sitting in my car cubard for a few weeks doing nout.

looks good, didnt think you could dim LED's with resistors though

You can, are you thinking of compact cold fluorescent light (CCFL)?

However, you do have to be careful with LEDs. Set the resistance too low and they will just burn an angry blue and then poof! You need to gear the resistance such that there is 3.7v (ish) or less on the LED.

I don't suppose you know the value/colour code of the resistor I would need do you Mike, for a 12v supply.
May be able to order one today.
Thank you

Hi mate the red led thing that acts as an alarm signal for when the ignition is off will eventually drain your battery if your car is not used on a regular basis, apart from that eveything is good. Cant wait until its lowered to see how that shall look.(y)
