Air Con on the fiat punto classic Mk2 Mjet 1.3 cools well but the fan will not shut off when I turn off the air conditioner or I turn off the car .... the engine temperature is non-stop 90 degrees ... this just happens when the air is working a long time.....pleas help

Which fan are you talking about first off, the engine fan or the fan in the cabin ?
Also if you get out and turn off the car the fan may be expected to run for a little while to cool everything down once you have switched off the car.

Go get the air con gas pressure checked as a fisrt step. If its got pressure its an electrical thing.
If your air con condenser has sprung a leak - which is quite possible it will need a new one. They are about £100. (I had our Panda one changes a month back) A gas recharge at my dealer was £28 for the gas. If the system is trying to cool and there is no gas the fan will run on. Labour was 2 hours approx. Good luck.
