Does anyone know how i can adjust my drivers door so it shuts further because its looking a bit proud and water is leaking in past seal

Normally on most cars you undo hinge bolts and reposition them slightly .

to undo /slacken the catch mechanism, and then carefully/ firmly shut the door, with your body weight behind it..,

then lift the door handle to release the catch,

tighten the fixing bolts - door should now latch in a "snug" position,
