For info on how to reset tyre press monitoring on dash.
Had my cross from new,2014 noticed tyre icon on dash had no idea what it meant.Checked fiat manual nothing,every other image was there and explained.
Checked tyre pressure found i had a puncture,got tyre repaired still got tyre image on dash.
Phoned my local fiat main dealer they had no idea was asked to bring it in for them to take alook.I followed herts hillhoppers advice problem solved.
Question why when i bought the car was i not told it had a tyre pressure sensor why in the manual is there no mention of it or how to reset?

In my manual the tyre pressure monitoring warning light explanation is on page 54, then the reset procedure (which I failed miserably with!!) is on pages 66-67. However, I have just had to look through the manual a few times to find it - even though I knew it was there!!

Will pay a visit to my fiat dealer for an explanation.I dont expect much.Once again many thanks thats why its worth being on the forum.

All new cars have to have tyre pressure monitors now... part of various systems to improve safety/economy and reduce emissions. The handbook is not at all clear... and different editions seem to have different information. Glad to have helped solve the issue though The latest editions of the owners handbook can be viewed on and downloaded from the Fiat website.
