Re: Fiat 500 coilovers on a Panda 312/319?

Installed the Novitec springs.
I like the look, but i'm still convinced fiat 500 Coils should fit.
if i ever find a good deal on a decent second hand set i'm going to try to fit them... stubborn as a mule i guess

What's the ET on those Alfa wheels?
I wonder if the 205 is going to give you problems at the rear.

I'm running 16x7 O.Z.'s at the moment with et38 and there's not much space at the rear on the backside of the tire (195/45r16).
On the passenger side the fit is probably the tightest. So I think it's gonna be a tight fit for you. But as you have 4x98 rims you can ad spacers if needed.
The front will be no problem as far as I can see and taking the Pretenders findings in consideration. He has had wider tires in the front so you should be fine.
Still with different rims you can only tell for sure when you try.

Re: Fiat 500 coilovers on a Panda 312/319?

I run mostly 7Jx16" ET31 wheels, so 6mm further out.
At the rear i can Run 215/40R16's and 205/45R16's without a problem.
At the front i have the 215/40R16's and even run 225/40R16's without problems.
225/40R16's do not fit at the rear and rub at deep compression.
Mine is also Novitec lowered, so that is the same.
You can use a 3mm spacer and still can use the same bolts to mount the wheel.
More spacing need longer bolds.
Based on my specs, i would say, it should fit just fine.

How are the wheels coming, have you fit them yet?
I really wonder what the end result is going to look like.
I've ordered the tires for my new 17" summer wheels and hope they will be in soon.
I'm going with the Continental Premium Contact 6 in 205/40R17.
I can't wait to get my insane 17" Tec Asa 2's on my car.
Buddy of mine got these tires in the same size on 17x7 MSW wheels for his Ford Fiesta and they look great(the wheels as well). The tire sits very needly on the 17x7 rim so I don't expect any problems with fitment on my Panda.
