I was gonna fire this up but Custard beat me too it, TBH I don't think the finished article warrants the expenditure, I'm sure many would be pushed to realise the amount of work and money thats in it TBH.

The seats are nice, the wheels are very subtle with only a keen eagle eyed person is gonna notice it, I did like what they done with the lights though.

:life: waste of money.

:yeahthat:

i know i'm obsessive with cleaning, but that guy needs professional help. if it was a rare old classic that had just been rebuilt then i'd say fair enough spend a few quid making it good as new, but on a new car, and a vauxhall, wtf has he been sniffing?!

Jesus H Christ I think ill rush out buy a new bucket, jumbo sponge and some turtle wax.' just popping out love to wash the car back in four days'. sad git get a life!!!

that is one lonely person., really though., you wouldnt even expect all that fuss over some rare old ferrari or something.,
i think he needs to spend more time using the car than having wet dreams about it.,.,
id love to know how much he spent doing all that.,.,

Mad git!

I really hope he has a daily-drive car too otherwise he's going to be crying when someone dings it in a car park. My marea is currently a shade of brown from the mud on the roads. It's got a rusty tailgate and a little crease in the bonnet. A couple of tiny dents in the doors and I was still upset when I noticed that my wing had been dented. As has been said - he's probably spent a fair amount of the price of the VXR on cleaning it. All which will be rendered pointless when some lorry kicks up a little stone infront of him...

OCD? CSI valet? can you imagine the reaction if a pidgeon poo'd on it?!

My exact feelings, firstly he goes mad on what is only an Astra, but I am worried about the guy in that if he went to such an effort on a brand new ASTRA, how is he going to feel when the car gets carpark dings, stone chips, DIRTY, minor scratches and so on? It will kill him. The final finish of it looked poor though, or is it just me? The bonnet especially looks uninspired in the photos to me? At the end of the day, it also comes down to the fact that Astra paintwork really will not make the most of such effort, whatever you do.

I didn't want to risk using that since people use it to suggest the car is bad, but meant about the paintwork it is so true. I bet you would have got a similar finish more cheaper because you hit the point where masses of time = little gain.

Well, i wouldnt say that? it did look really nice at least in the pics but not enough to justiy the cost.,
i wonder what that bloke with the buffer was on an hour?., lol.,

its the fact you read all that but....

"the car was then washed, clayed and royaled again on tuesday, wednesday, thursday, and then friday".

I mean FFS whats the point, its a BRAND new car, probably hasn't even done 50miles yet, and that royal and atlantique wax's are like £2,000 a TUB!!

this guy seriously needs some action in the bedroom department, obviously hasn't seen ANYTHING for a number of years:rolleyes:
