Terrorist attack today in London

There are videos circulating that would suggest that the blood on his hands in the news footage was ramped up post-process.....

Not that the press would sensationalize an horrific event such as this or anything.... (n)

This article is sh*te, and so full of obvious inaccuracies it is laughable. It states for a start that the 2 perpetrators hung around and were then killed. No they weren't.
Unfortunately it is more of a sad indictment of everyday life in multicultural London where there are many people who will literally walk past anything rather than change their plans.
I saw the amazing Scandinavian woman on TV this morning who had the bravery to go and speak to the guy and go and ask him what he was doing. Try telling her she is part of a hoax.

This raises many of the questions I have in the back of my mind.

I am sure it will be a great comfort to the family and young son of the soldier who was murdered in London that apparently intelligent people are considering that this was a hoax.
The internet does a lot of good, but it also has a lot to answer for.

I don't think Andy is agreeing that it was a hoax, but there are a few good points raised.

I could make an argument that its no more inaccurate than this

Shall we wait for more of the facts to become apparent before we make anymore claims on what did or didn't happen

as MEP said i'm not claiming its a hoax but there are a lot of things that don't tie up

The problem as I see it is this...for every well informed balanced view there are 3 xenophobic or idiotic ones and both are getting there say even when really they shouldn't be given oxygen never mind airtime. Direct quote from the news today...our grandads fought in the war if they were still alive they'd be spinning in their graves. ..:bang:

I can understand that sentiment. To think that you could be a soldier who survived either of the previous wars, or these current wars and come home intact, and then be murdered not in a fire fight but by being run over and hacked to death, on the streets in this country, because you are wearing army clothing. Why would it be xenophobic to think that is hideously wrong? It is not an irrational fear, as it has just happened in front of the world.
Xenophobia must have changed its meaning since I last looked it up if that is xenophobia.

Andy , first of all you said it was made up because you hadn't seen it on TV.
Now presumably you have seen it on TV , but you think that it is just as plausible as an article which has several factual errors plus the obvious anomaly that somebody was murdered .
I agree that it is almost unbelievable, but believe it. It happened. What is there that doesn't tie up?
You will be telling us that nobody landed on the moon and that Shergar is still alive next.

Not saying the sentiment is wrong. ..However if your grandad was alive why would he be spinning in his grave..was he buried prematurely.

This gentleman then went on about how they should be sent back home...er one of them was born here the other is not a recent immigrant but ok clearly he was ok to be on the national news and give a valid opinion.

Just out for a walk after an early stack
Not looking for trouble, not watching my back
Mothers with prams holding hands with their kids
Not paying attention to the car as it skids
Caught completely off guard not expecting what comes
One man with a knife another with guns
No chance of defence no chance to fight back
Looking for help as the cowards attack
An angel arrives as the light turns to grey
A woman attempts to steer attackers away
My last thought of 'Thank You' never strays from my brain
As my body shuts down and I feel no more pain.

I look to my left and I look to my right
Thousands of squaddies are all that's in sight
Uniforms are crisp and their faces are clean
No sign of anger or hate to be seen
As if by command they salute all as one
The RSM smiles, says 'Welcome home son'.

RIP Lee Rigby. GBNF

I am not sue how to take this. Is it an attempt at humour to lighten a very bad situation, or have you genuinely never heard the phrase "turning in their grave"?

I am not aligning myself with some ignoramus saying "they should be sent home", as at least one of these men was born here. But what I would say is that if you live here here, and enjoy the benefits of a generous and free society then if you attack it then you are committing treason.
I just feel so angry that there is a family sitting not far away from where I am now who would have been relieved that their son came home from Afghanistan alive, only to have him be killed by cowards just outside his own barracks, and certain people are writing articles on-line for their own motives to suggest it is a hoax.

My point being alot of ill advised, poorly informed and stupid things are being said..this gentleman cannot grasp implications of the phrase "turning in their grave" clearly has no idea about the circumstances of the 2 men involved and yet his opinion was deemed fit for broadcast by the bbc.

It's a tragic event I feel deeply sorry for those caught in it. I will leave it there.

At the bottom of that webpage
"Chris & Sheree Geo founded Truth Frequency Radio with the purpose of compiling an archive of information which can be used for generations to come. Not your typical radio show, Truth Frequency focuses more on the history of the occult and the deeper underlying conspiracy behind current events in an effort to predict the future by understanding the past. Chris & Sheree are not only researchers into the occult and esoteric but have also produced the musical album Global Resistance which is a mixture of rock, techno and hip hop with conscious lyrics exposing the New World Order."

Ah, right - THAT explains a lot.
